A page from the life of PFA Agra
- Mr. Saros Cowasjee has made a generous donation to PFA Agra in the name of his mother Dr Meher Bharucha. The given money, under the terms of the bequest, have been put into an FDR and we are entitled to use the interest.
Coming to Mr. Cowasjee's monther, she was a doctor and had done her medicine from Mumbai. She had won several medals, some of them in gold. She was a real citizen of Agra and one of the best known lady doctors in the forties, fifties and sixties. PFA Agra salutes her and her son for making this generous donation for the strays of Agra.
The annual interest from this donation comes to INR 2,00,000 (2 lakhs) per year which will help us to sustain the infrastructure for almost a month. Currently our monthly expense comes down to INR 2.25 to 2.5 lakhs per month. Therefore we request our well wishers to keep donating so that we can continue our efforts for the whole year.
- Alice, a special needs girl, who had lost both her hind limbs has been adopted by a shelter in Holland, her forever home. Soon we will bring to you her video of her complete journey FROM HURT to HEALED.
- Choco, another orphaned puppy girl from our shelter, and a stray, has also found a forever loving home with Ritu Sagar and her family. We hope more people will come forward to adopt desi dogs and give them forever loving homes.
can help us
By sponsoring a dog from our shelter @INR 1000 a month (~12 euros a month). We prefer people to sponsor some of our handicapped dogs (paralysed, blind, deaf etc) who are never adopted by anyone. We keep them with us at the shelter for the rest of their lives. You can help us a lot by sponsoring one of these babies and sending them your love. If you want to sponsor a dog, please contact us at email@example.com
